  STAR OF THE WEEK

Kids enjoy having a chance to be in the spotlight. The ‘star of the week’ concept gives each student a week to share a bit about themselves with the rest of the class. Students feel a sense of pride when they take center stage, and the class has the opportunity to build a stronger community by celebrating each other.

Academics Workshop 2022

The years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 were tough due to the pandemic, affecting academics at Jain Public School. Online and offline classes presented challenges, but teachers and parents supported students diligently.
In 2022-2023, the school year began with renewed focus. We received training from Mr. Hitesh and Mrs. Namratha on new teaching methods and NEP, and Mr. Parthasarthi offered insights on classroom management. This preparation boosted teachers’ confidence.
Starting on June 1, 2022, the return to school was marked by a mix of excitement and uncertainty, reflecting a strong desire to move past the difficulties of distance learning.

Environment Day 2022

Our environment is crucial for survival and sustainability on this planet. To raise awareness about the impact of human activities on the environment, World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5, 2022. Each grade planted a sapling at the nursery campus, with students, helpers, and teachers all participating in the planting. Additionally, to foster a love for animals, a pet farm was established on the school campus.

Leadership is the challenge to be something more than average.” On June 15, 2022, the young leaders of grades 9 and 10 at JPS were celebrated for their growth and dedication. The Principal honored them with badges and sashes, and we marched together in Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, reflecting our school spirit.

Soil Conservation Day

We held an essay writing competition for grades VI to X, and participants received certificates from the Honorable Prime Minister of India. Additionally, we organized a Soil Conservation Awareness event, where students spoke about the importance of soil conservation in various languages during the assembly.

International Yoga day [ 21 June]

Your body exists in the past and your mind exists in the future. In yoga, we come together in the present.” To celebrate International Yoga Day, a two-day program was held to highlight the benefits of yoga. As a result, a weekly Yoga period was introduced for grades V to X every Wednesday. Yoga masters Mr. Dodda Basappa and Mr. Basavaraj visited the school to teach students asanas and slokas.
