Dr. Chenraj Roychand
Dr. Chenraj Roychand is a visionary leader with 25 years of impactful work in education through the JGI Group. Known for his integrity and dedication, he began his business career at 13 with Reliance Industries, becoming their top dealer. In 1982, he innovated with the ‘Bits’ showroom concept, now widespread with over 30,000 outlets. He founded Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College in 1990, leading to the establishment of 85 institutions serving 45,000 students. His schools emphasize holistic education, including personality development and sports training. Dr. Roychand also founded Jain Vidyaniketan in Kanakapura, focusing on personalized education and community support. His initiatives include health camps, eye surgeries, and welfare programs for rural communities. He has served on various educational bodies and as Vice President of the Federation of Jain Educational Institutes (FJEI).
